Over the years, the Shrimati Radhika Sinha Institute and Sachchidananda Sinha Library has continually expanded its resources, infrastructure, and services to cater to the evolving needs of students, researchers, and knowledge seekers. The library has made significant strides in preserving rare historical documents, promoting inclusive education, and modernizing research facilities. With a commitment to fostering intellectual growth, the library has not only enhanced its physical and digital collections but has also established itself as a premier academic hub in Bihar. Through various initiatives, it has strengthened its role as a guardian of literary and cultural heritage while adapting to technological advancements.

1. Housing Over 1.8 Lakh Books
  • One of the largest and most comprehensive collections in Bihar, covering diverse subjects including literature, history, law, and philosophy.
2. Digitization of Rare Newspapers and Manuscripts
  • Successfully digitized newspapers dating back to 1901, including ‘Leader’ and ‘Searchlight,’ making historical records more accessible.
3. Introduction of Braille and Audio Books
  • Over 400 Braille books and an expanding collection of audiobooks for visually impaired readers, enhancing inclusive education.
4. Establishment of the Centenary Garden (Shatabdi Vatika)
  • Created as a tribute to Dr. Sachchidananda Sinha, providing a serene reading space for visitors.
5. Expansion of Research & Archival Facilities
